Unlike many bundled Maternity plans, Aviva’s MyMaternityPlan is neither a stand-alone one nor a bundled one. Each insurer’s maternity plan has a special feature and aside from congenital illnesses and pregnancy complications, Aviva’s Maternity plan may appeal to you if you are into stem cell technology.

To be able to purchase Aviva’s MyMaternityPlan, either the mother or father of child needs to be an existing policy holder. It can be a hospitalisation, critical illness (stand-alone) or whole life insurance coverage or even endowment an retirement plans.

Aviva’s MyMaternityPlan also covers up to 4 babies in one pregnancy. IVF, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and Intracervical Insemination (ICI) are included.

  • Financial Assistance – Daily Hospitalisation Cash Benefit for Mothers. Due to pregnancy complications, 1% of sum assured will be paid out daily, up to 30 days.
  • No check-ups needed- Your baby will not need any medical check-ups as a condition when you are buying them a whole life
  • Financial assistance to baby expenses- Daily Hospitalisation Cash Benefit for Babies for hospitalisation and treatment expenses such as sever neonatal jaundice or neonatal ICU/HDU admittance. 1% of sum assured will be paid out daily, up to 30 days.
  • Covers up to 4 babies even if they are conceived through IVF, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and Intracervical Insemination (ICI).
